We are seeking a hands-on, experienced, and agile leader to head our product design and research team and serve as a key partner to the CPO and company management. In this role, you will help elevate Livesport’s product portfolio through a deep understanding of our global user base and the delivery of outstanding user experience and interface design.
While you will play a key role in shaping the quality of our products, you will also be expected to effectively execute against established product roadmaps and strategic priorities. Act as a strategic partner to Product leadership and management, enabling smooth design and research delivery and supporting creation and execution of the product roadmap.
Lead and evolve design and research initiatives across our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with company strategy and vision.
Get hands-on when needed—conducting research, shaping design solutions, and supporting design handoffs to development teams.
Oversee and automate multi-brand design operations, ensuring consistency and quality across web and app environments.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Digital Content, Commercial, and Marketing teams as the central resource for product design expertise within Livesport and the wider group.
Drive innovation by surfacing new opportunities and pioneering the use of AI and automation to improve team performance and outcomes.
Continually evaluate and iterate on design solutions, leveraging research, user feedback, analytics, and data-driven insights to inform decisions and maximize impact.
Own the team’s budget and resource allocation, with a strong focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maximizing business value.
Inspire, mentor, and grow a diverse team of 10+ product designers, design ops specialists, and researchers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, detail-oriented culture.
Enhance team and company visibility by representing Livesport at industry events, encouraging team participation, building connections within local and global design and research communities, and promoting leadership within broader sports, tech, and design industries.
At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional design and research teams in a digital product environment.
Deep expertise in UI and UX design for digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces grounded in user-centered design principles.
Hands-on skills in designing, prototyping, and refining digital experiences—comfortable turning user needs, product requirements, and research insights into outstanding, elegant solutions.
Experience with multi-brand/product environments, and fluency with design systems, including component libraries and cross-platform consistency.
An agile, data-informed, and iterative approach, using analytics, user feedback, and user testing as a foundation to validate and improve designs.
Solid understanding of user research methods, with the ability to collaborate productively with researchers and translate insights into actionable designs.
Genuine excitement for AI and emerging design technologies, always seeking smarter, more efficient ways of working and raising the bar for digital experiences.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate and justify design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership and company owners.
Visibility and engagement in the design community, with a willingness to represent Livesport at industry events and encourage team participation.
A passion for sports and betting, with an understanding of what motivates fans and a desire to create truly engaging user experiences.
On-site presence for at least three days in our Prague office and willingness to travel to meet distributed team members and explore fan cultures around the world.
Have direct experience in sports, betting, media, or related entertainment products.
Have worked with large-scale, high-traffic mobile apps or web platforms, ideally in a global or multilingual context.
Have led distributed, multinational, or remote teams.
Bring experience with building or scaling AI-based design/research workflows.
Can demonstrate success stories of creating measurable business impact through design innovation.
Are fluent in Czech (not required, but a plus).
